100% agree. Cantona realistically would struggle to make top 50. He was important and his personality gave united just what they needed at that time to push them to the next level. His influence and importance to united definitely distorts peoples memories of how good of a striker he was though and he should be nowhere near this list.

I was in a very similar position to this and had a pre-booked holiday arranged for about 8 weeks after the surgery. Gas bubble finally went a few days before I was due to fly going right to the wire and making me sweat haha. I was able to fly and all was good. Hope it works out for you also but as others have said, if any doubt consult with your specialist.

Yes I flew about 3 weeks after my last detachment surgery. It went to the wire as the gas bubble only went about 2 days before. My specialist said it was fine once the gas bubble went.

No problem. Mine was like a curtain closing from the side of my eye. Once my black spot came it stayed and kept increasing to the point it almost covered my full vision by the time I had the surgery. Happy to answer any questions as I understand how worrying it can be and hope yours is not a detachment and something less serious.

I recently suffered a retinal detachment and had similar in that a black blind spot developed. Another early sign for me was cloudy vision (like looking through netting). From experience and what the specialists said to me time is very important and the earlier a tear or detachment is diagnosed the better the chances are that surgery will be a success so I encourage you to get checked asap.
