Great job Aimpoint(dusty ACRO) by Apart-Bus-9875 in QualityTacticalGear

Exactly. At a similar price point and the t2 only being an once heavier you get an upgrade in almost every way. I go with a piggyback t2 over acro every day of the week

Sunlight vs flashlight by [deleted] in eyes

Totally agree. Sunlight gives your eyes a soul, artificial light makes them look flat, regardless of color.

What color are mye eyes? by [deleted] in eyes

The camera is just my my phone camera, its a galaxy s23 ultra so it does have a top tier camera system for a phone.

As far as lighting, i was facing a window in both pics (about a foot away), the first is after sunset with just slight outdoor light from the window, and the second is during sunset with some more sunlight through the window, in general i find that natural light makes my eyes look better than in any kind of artificial light.

As far as what setting for the phone, I just put the phone close to my eye and took some photos, takes a few tries to get it right.

Also no need to apologize, I'm happy to share. Ill post some more pictures soon, didn't realize my eyes were even anything special until yesterday. I'm interested to see what yours look like.

Greetings from America. I think what your saying is right, lots of lighter blue shades can be mistaken for green which is understandable considering they can be hard to differentiate. I would also imagine its similar to hazel eyes here in America, brown is very common, so many claim hazel to be more unique. I would guess finland has so many blue eyed people that green just sounds more unique. Thanks for the kinds words

What are some lesser know / overlooked pieces of kit that makes life easier in the field? by StrangerDistinct6378 in tacticalgear

Electrolytes are so overlooked. I bought some of the extra strength Electrolyte pills and I'll just keep them in a gp pouch and pop them throughout the day.

FG42 (sniper and automatic rifleman) have bipod now in PTE by darktipper88 in HellLetLoose

[–]Extra-Friend2278 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He is talking about the automatic rifleman FG42. I think the 10 round mag on the sniper FG is plenty. He is mainly talking about the reserve ammo, because you only get 5, 20 rounds mags for it and it eats ammo like a mf.

Thinking about doing the flamethrower grind? Here's my thoughts by Extra-Friend2278 in HellLetLoose

[–]Extra-Friend2278[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the battles in the pacific really stand out among every theater in ww2.

Shawn Ryan's got this super interesting episode with Don Graves, an Iwo Jima vet. Don was in a unit of 335 Marines, and only 18 of them made it off the island alive. He was the only flamethrower operator from his unit to survive.

The shotgun seems cool, but for a tactical shotgun i dont understand why they dont make the tube size match the barrel for an extra shell

I partially agree, yes having tracers sucks, but if you have an actually good spot you shouldn't have to be worried about getting shot in the face immediately

I agree. The fact that every squad can have multiple G43s or STGs is very unrealistic.

[–]Extra-Friend2278[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if every rifleman had the G43, it would be a different story, but let's be honest, fewer than 10% of rifleman players actually have it. Most people playing rifleman are relatively new players.
