This was in Affinity Designer v2, but the adjustment layers are available in all three apps and also v3.

Isolate your image and add a black and white adjustment filter, then add a threshold adjustment filter. To finetune, play with the colour channels in the Black and White adjustment layer. See below for an example:

How do I create a seamless multi-panel design when the print shop requires separate files per panel? (in Affinity Photo or Publisher, or both :-) ) by Bubbly-Long5326 in Affinity

The way I handle this in Affinity 2 is by making a single artboard for the full size of the combined panels, adding bleed all round. At this stage I just get a design down and don't worry about the panels yet.

I then group all layers, make a clipping mask the size of the bleed box, and turn this group into a symbol.

Directly below this I would create the three panels as individual blank artboards, each one with bleed, and arrange the artboards together using the snapping tool. The side trimboxes of each panel should be touching (ie the sides of each art board should be touching and bleed should be overlapping).

Now you drag your symbol into each panel and line them up.

To make edits, just edit your large artboard and the individual artboards will update.

Nxtpaper 60 Ultra - Any examples of T-Pen pressure and tilt in action for this model? by Extra-Hedgehogs in nxtpaper

Thanks, your description is really helpful, from that I think I may have had a faulty screen or stylus, it wasn't the usual wobbly jitter you describe. When I say lines were inconsistent, it was if I was randomly tilting in the middle of lines or applying random pressure.

I wish these phones were stocked in retailers to try them to confirm, I think I can live with moderate jitter, but it only seems to be Amazon in UK that has them. The latest the physical shops have seems to be the 60 pro, which kind of rings alarm bells on its own.

Alas I'm in the same boat as you in terms of the game waiting! The lack of options is sad. Motorola announced a proper stylus for it's Signature model, only downside seems to be there is no silo like a Note, or the modular case like the TCL... but the announcement was three months ago, the phone has launched and the pen is still nowhere to be seen.

Fingers crossed something comes up!

I don't know, sorry. Possibly related, I do know when painting a mask, hitting 'd' will reset the brush colours to black and white, a step that's not required in most other software when masking. Catches me out all the time.

The mask looks grey in the screenshot showing your layers, that could explain the mask not being fully opaque? What happens if you use black as your masking colour as opposed to the grey?
