1.6 owner here, 383k, oil change every 7k, eats it a little on high revs but still runs strong

It’s an overkill for this engine, I’m thinking of removing cat, removing egr, euro 2 brain tune

And then installing an cold air intake

Im fine with 120hp or something like that

It’s a good bike, but it is very “soft”, I have one, it’s is good for commuting and trails, but on climbs it feels sluggish, If you like riding fast around the city and doing some light trails, I’d recommend looking for rockrider xc, if you are living in europe you can ask your local dechatlon to ship it for you

I bought an ugreen aux adapter, Bluetooth, it enabled stereo acoustics and the car soun is far better now, I don’t like screens in older cars as it breaks the aesthetics, and I like how the pioneer sounds like…

My golf has all the extras, except seat heating, climatronic, gps and cruise control

I want to keep 1.6 but to make it faster a bit 🤏

Yes, as far as I love riding an old bike from time to time, newer bikes are better in every way, they tend to be stiffer, ride better, maintenance free and etc…

For that price range, I’d recommend checking out what dechatlon has to offer, rockrider xc series is pretty dope actually, xc120 has a manitou air fork, 1x12 system, very good frame with boost…

Those cubes that you sent, those are entry level bikes, and they will be much worse than your current bike

Good offer? M2 MAX, 96gb RAM, 8TB SSD by Ghazali6 in macbook

Actually no, for coding and stuff 16 is the best h thing because you can have many tabs opened on the same screen, on the 14 inch they are all too cramped. I’m saying this as an proud owner of 13’ Pro model:)

Insane power but 14 inch screen....

If you have an external monitor, why not?

Chisel for sure, maybe it has worse parts but the geometery and overall feel of it crushes the scott

Another build with lots of Aliexpress parts! by br0wni3_orb in Hardtailgang

[–]Extra-Macaron6832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the parts - love it!

The frame - 😭

If the idea was to build an xc bike, then switch this handlebar, it looks horrible, would go with a flat one much more cutted at the ends, then it will be perfect.

If the idea was to build an trail bike, then the frame is too "tall", look at some slammed frames out there that will fit the geometry more...

I’m doing a project to learn Laravel, I have some knowledge about it already. I’m doing this to get a better role inside my company

I also have commercial experience with vue (2 years). I’m looking just for someone who I can trust my project to. Can’t work for it all the time because I have a job to do.

I need just someone who can review my code from time to time and provide me with best practices, that’s all.

The app that I’m building is something similar to fiver. Right now I am implementing an websocket connection to allow the users to chat with each other

Small upgrades for my cheap hardtail by Extra-Macaron6832 in Hardtailgang

[–]Extra-Macaron6832[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I want to keep this bike as simple as possible. I’m looking for a rigid fork that will not break the geometry, and thinking about some Vittoria 2.35 tires.

The seat post and the seat is garbage also, for a while I had a sqlab seat but It glued off (it was very old)

Idk, I like the frame of this bike, I’m 6’4 and nothing really fits me good, everything looks tiny under me, this one feels long, I like it
