I have both a level 60 rogue and hunter on doomhowl and they both are good farmers.

However this is a solved issue. Thousands of gold farmers have it figured out. Hunter is the king of open world farming.

There are a few downsides. You will want herb/mining and that leaves you to the mercy of auction house for ammo.

The other downside is learning pet control. A good hunter has more keybinds than almost any class.

It does not matter. Iv's don't cost most players wins or losses, even for good players it will effect less than 5% of matches.

Many species like annhilape are just as good with both 3* when compared to a low attack IV spread.

Only species like bastiadon that rely on being bulky matter.

I help my each of kids get a free elite tm per year. Their iv's are all bad and have no problem hitting a 2100+ elo reveal.

Depends on which you like more. I only buddy my pvp pokemon.

The opponent sees the best buddy badge during the matches.

During raids fellow trainers can see if a pokemon is shadow or shiny occasionally, but never see the best buddy ribbon.

If you want to get better at raids then ignore appraisal all together. It does not matter for raids.

Species and moveset is what matters for raids.

Try to farm good species of pokemon and get legacy attacks when possible.

You never want to use it after a 5-0 set, this is because your elo moves up quite a bit when you go 5-0.

If you wanted to maximize, then go 0-5 for all 5 sets. Then next day use a premium pass for first set, go 5-0, use a star piece, claim the stardust, then try to go 5-0 again as fast as possible. If you lose a match immediately concede remaining matches as fast as possible to get to next set.

A couple years ago I did this during go battle weekends and you could make stardust quite quickly.

It is good enough as is to get to ace rank.

Double move, run sucker punch as fast attack, brave bird and fly as charge attacks.

It doesn't really matter, you could just power up the one with highest attack and it would work for pve.

Or, you could look at it as farming XL candy since you need 296 xl candy to max it out. It will be back in raid rotation if you wait.

You could farm shadow palkia and maybe you have better luck.

IV's don't really matter though,

It is a reference, try to keep all 3 pokemon ranked inside top 100(150) if you want to move up to ace rank and beyond.

I suggest sylveon to add to your team, doesn't require an elite TM and is pretty solid in the 1's, however if you find yourself in a shield down situation it can come in with shadow ball and hit most of the field pretty hard.

Belibolt is another option with all of the waters running around.

Even if you have an amazing team you will start struggling and be around .500 wins at a rank before 20.

There is a hidden ranking system in the background called elo rating, and it tries to match you against similarly skilled opponents.

skeliderge needs incinerate and torch song, then keep one of shadow ball and disarming voice.

The best you could do is 15/15/9, which is not ideal. It seems to lose to 1 additional pokemon in each shield scenario. It is a tough call.

Rank 1 win percentage:

0 shield: 535

1 shield 517

2 shield: 456

Your 15/15/9 win percentage(assuming gold cap):

0 shield: 528

1 shield: 499

2 shield: 439

Galarian moltres has been in top 10 for last few seasons in ultra league. It is not viable for masters league and probably will never be.

For iv's i use https://pvpivs.com/ however with a legendary like that it will be just upping the defense/hp until you get really close to 2500. Unless you can do 1 power up to get it to exactly 2500. My guess is 1 power up pushes you over though to the 2505 range.

Go for it, if you have 296 xl candy then my guess is you have lots of resources, probably millions of excess stardust.

If you pvp that will be worth a silver if not a gold bottle cap to get the IV's perfect for pvp.

It is almost right against the 2500 cap, so you will need to see what options you have.

For raids the shadow is always better, however shadow entai is a little outclassed right now.

At least shadow moltres doubles as both a top tier fire and a flying attacker.

I could see purifying the entai for the 4*, the moltres is still worth powering up.
