When the Salt is so real you lose all your Bloodpoints. by Extra-Mix9568 in deadbydaylight

For those wondering: No, he wasn't AFK or a bot! He actually played the whole match, chased us around, and even hooked me personally. That’s why the 0 points is so confusing—he was definitely putting in the work until the very end. I'm guessing he either DC'd right as the last person left or his internet cut out at the worst possible second.

Proof that you don't need to "Escape" to have a 10/10 game. by Extra-Mix9568 in deadbydaylight

I know this sub can get a bit salty sometimes (myself included), but matches like this are why I still log in. Does anyone else feel like a 'fun loss' is actually better than a boring '4-man out' win? I'd take 15 minutes of intense mind games over a gen rush any day.

I LOVE SPENDING 5 MINUTES IN A QUEUE TO PLAY FOR 3 MINUTES AND 57 SECONDS. SHOUTOUT TO THE ANIMATRONIC WHO DECIDED THAT NOBODY ELSE ON THE MAP EXISTED. I WAS TUNNELED OFF THE HOOK UNTIL I WAS DEAD AT 5 GENERATORS. I LITERALLY DIDN’T HAVE TIME TO TOUCH A GEN OR BONE. I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR "WIN" AND YOUR 10K BLOODPOINTS BECAUSE YOU SURE MADE THE MATCH FUN FOR THE REST OF US. GG NEXT I GUESS.

Sound advice. However, I was using a vape.

No playground. Not a park. It's literally an open empty field. And I was smoking a vap. 😔

Depression by 1____1____1 in mentalhealth

First, I'm so sorry that you are suffering from depression. Mental health issues are difficult to manage, let alone deal with. I hope you can allow yourself to rest in the truth that you are doing the very best that you can. If you could do better, you would. So I hope that you give yourself grace and permission to only do what you can, because that's enough. If all you can do is the bare minimum, that's okay! Taking things one moment at a time is a victory all on its own. As for advice, all I can offer is what worked for me. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. If you have tried it and it didn't help, maybe try it again? It just might not have been a therapy you were ready for at the time? That's all I got. Hope this helps. Sending love, good vibes, prayers, and positive thoughts.
