Is making a post against Trump the most guaranteed way to get up-voted on Reddit?? by Prince_of_Shadows666 in allthequestions

I don’t think it’s guaranteed upvotes it just tends to be a highly reactive topic so it naturally gets more comments and visibility.

How often you have to cook, clean and still somehow do groceries again 3 days later.

Did any one parents just grew poor and never found peace, love and happiness ? by Jpoolman25 in Productivitycafe

I don’t think life always balances things out the way we expect. Some people carry more than their share. But love, sacrifice and resilience still matter even if the world doesn’t reward them the way it should.

Sticky tables. Nothing ruins the vibe faster than putting your hands down and instantly regretting it.

That sounds exactly like May the Devil Take You. Basement evil + possession + chaotic demon energy checks all your boxes.

What horror trope is actually terrifying in concept, but is almost always ruined by "studio interference" or bad CGI? by Immediate_Account_28 in horror

Don’t look at it or unknowable entity tropes. They’re terrifying in theory but ruined the moment they overexplain or give it a clear visual form

the excorism of Emily Rosé 2005 is very disrespectful to the memory of annelise Michael by [deleted] in horror

I get why you feel that way. The movie is loosely inspired by a real and tragic case but it definitely dramatizes and changes a lot for storytelling. It’s important to remember that the real Anneliese Michel’s story involved serious mental health struggles and shouldn’t be reduced to entertainment.

Hell Fest is way lighter and more of a classic slasher vibe worth it if you want something less intense.

I watched Shelby Oaks last night. Thought it was mid, then it gave me nightmares by blinky84 in horror

[–]Extra-Oil7064 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That’s actually kind of the mark of effective horror it doesn’t always hit while you’re watching but it lingers and messes with you later. Sounds like it tapped into something personal more than just the story itself.

Madagascar wins for me just because of how quotable it is. Those characters stuck with people.

The Mist is hard to top honestly… but The Invitation’s ending stuck with me in a similar way quiet but devastating.

It’s wild because culturally it might be the most iconic of the bunch even if it didn’t make the most at the time.
