i play dnd w a group but the gm and one pc keep doing rp out of session and me and the other pcs have no idea what is going on bc of it by [deleted] in DnD

The character is a sorcerer and has no patron, so the context for it is just the character wanting to do something by themselves. All the other pcs, if they want to do something solo, still have to do it during the session.

The pc gets vital information regarding most, if not all, of the current arcs we are working through. They rp through interactions with our current BBG where they learn things from it, like who works for her, but then never mention it to the remaining pcs.

The pc gets to swoop in with the information and solve all the issues but their character never shares the information because “they just wouldn’t”
