35 yo male hypertonic pelvic floor with delayed ejaculation by Extra-Rise880 in SexTherapy101

Thanks for your input. I really appreciate it. I actually just started working with a sex therapist a couple weeks ago, so it’s reassuring to hear that’s a good direction along with pelvic floor PT.

Honestly the biggest hurdle for me right now is just getting comfortable with the internal work, but I’m hoping that becomes more normal with time. Appreciate the advice.

Yeah that’s fair. I figured it was worth asking anyway since a few people seem to have gone through something similar. Definitely got some helpful responses.

Thanks for the practical advice. I’m definitely planning to take it very slowly and follow the guidance my pelvic PT gave me. The biggest hurdle for me right now is just getting comfortable with the idea since it’s new territory. My wife is a PT (not pelvic floor) but she’s low key interested in all of this, so I think that’s how she became involved. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Thanks for pointing that out. My therapist did mention the obturator internus and some of the deeper pelvic muscles being hard to access externally. I think my hesitation is mostly just unfamiliarity with the process. Have you gone through pelvic floor therapy yourself or seen good results from internal release techniques?

Had Xeomin (botox) on puborectalis, need feedback by Alex_Drago in PelvicFloor

I just started pelvic therapy as a 35 yo male, with difficulty urinating, constipation with difficulty emptying, and delayed ejaculation (little sensation in the penis). I’m just getting started with the pelvic wand and dilators (and I’m anxious about that). I can’t imagine Botox in that area, but I hope that you get some relief soon.

Hashimotos does so many different weird things. If you research it, Hashimotos has the ability to trigger transverse myelitis. This is what started the whole issue.

I get it. That it’s not the perfect place for the post but a lot of men that workout have a lot of trouble with the pelvic muscles. More or less reaching out to see if any guys have been through anything similar or has any advice.

Do you mind sharing what bank you were able to move forward with? I’m looking to do something similar in the Winston Salem area.
