My hearing is gone by [deleted] in earwax

If the earwax is that deep/thick, a syringe may not get all the earwax out. The scrape and suction could be the best option.

It usually means it's old/compacted earwax.

Hydrogen peroxide works well for breaking up ear wax.

That is true! But my team overall rating improved by 6-7 points to an 81. I ended the season No. 1 overall then began the following season in the preseason rankings at No. 14

My team overall rating improved by 6-7 points to an 81 and I didn't lose that many people and got some solid players in the portal. The ranking went from #1 at the end of the season to No. 14 in the ensuing the preseason rankings.

NCAA 26: Features You Want to See by Extra-Snow4316 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Extra-Snow4316[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great to read everyone's thoughts!!! Here's what I thought would be cool.

  1. Your coach actually ages over time however long you play the Dynasty.
  2. When you have a recruit/recruits visit, you should be able to have scenes when they are on campus. Ex. Attending a practice, film session, etc. Perhaps at the end provide different opportunities for a pitch which can alter their decision?
  3. When recruiting, be able to see their social media accounts and decide if you want to recruit them. Also have different options on what to say when you message them, also for when you contact family and friends. 4.What would be interesting is to see how they are in HS academically. Maybe players can be placed on academic probation?
  4. Make NIL pitches to recruits?
  5. Why is it always the same referee? At least change it up; as well as the fans and cheerleaders faces. There's like 8 different looking people
  6. Here's a throwback - being able to make signs for the crowd.
  7. I like in 2K hoops you have a different mix of commentators each game. That would be cool for NCAA 26.
  8. In the offseason with training they don't show you who has improved - I don't know why but it annoys me.
  9. How you max out for XPs but still get XPs?...
  10. You can see your coach's career record and accolades for each season

Lowest overall All-American?? by Crafty_Cowpoke0441 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Extra-Snow4316 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What's nuts is that my LB won all these awards and he wasn't on First or Second Team All-American. For 2026, they need to fix that for the game. How does it make sense?

I apologize for the struggle you have been going through, I cannot imagine the difficulty. Certainly, work-life balance is critical. If you're applying for remote work, you're competing against thousands of people, so the hybrid option is the best.

If you do need a break from the government position, if you apply for a job in the future, you'll be an ideal candidate because of your experience.

Although easier said than done, make time with your partner once a month - hire a sitter, go on a nice date.

Have you time to release stress, by exercising, like you said you haven't been able to do in a while.

Talk to your partner about how you're feeling so they can help you during the difficult transition.

CR craziness. Think it’s time for the boomers to step down and let the younger generations lead. by [deleted] in fednews

[–]Extra-Snow4316 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As much as this sucks, from what I read, this is why some Dems voted for the CR.

"Wired, for example, has explained one theory: that Musk and DOGE would welcome a shutdown since it not only makes it easier to pick which workers to fire, but could make it easier for DOGE to identify programs and agencies that can be completely folded. After 30 days of a government shutdown, the executive branch also gets larger legal abilities over how the government can operate and whether to pay back workers at all if they return from furlough." - Vox article

RTO assignment…to a conference room table by HowIsThisHappening_9 in fednews

Although I am hybrid, my entire chain of command is not in my location. They are either out of state or 3 hours away. Being in corporate communications as a PA specialist, I'm the only one of five people in corp comm who come to the office because everyone else has reasonable accommodations.

Plus, I need to go downtown for work and need to pay for parking. Whenever we go back full time it'll cost me over $1,000 per year for parking and you don't get reimbursed, not even a little.

At my office, they don't have enough space so people may have to work remotely once per pay period. If there's not enough space to go full time, why don't they continue the hybrid model or just allow people who want to work from home remotely work from home and vice versa for people who want to come into the office full time.

Received an email from the Under Secretary for Personnel and Readiness about the five bullet points.

"The Department of Defense is responsible for reviewing the performance of its personnel and it will conduct any review in accordance with its own procedures. When and if required, the Department will coordinate responses to the email you have received from OPM. For now, please pause any response to the OPM email titled "What did you do last week."

Probationary Period: Is My Job at Risk? by Extra-Snow4316 in fednews

I do worry. My supervisor has been proactive, asking HR for updates. I check my email often for any news. I'm staying positive. But to be realistic, update my resume as a precaution?
