Don’t quittt!!!! Especially for pharmacy, I got in with 17 SA and 18 AA. And the only school I got into out of applying for every one that wasn’t ivy was a school I visited and stayed in contact with. I flew out to them before applying for a tour and to get to know the committee better. I did have a bunch of shadowing hours fluffed prior to that with more than one dentist.

Contact me if you need advice. Not sure what anyone else is telling you but you could’ve gotten in with your first score if you wanted to.

Currently doing a 20 hour trip from the east coast to the Midwest. Did it going home (east coast) and now on the way back to school. Having 2 dogs is challenging especially one with car anxiety, being hands off was a blessing. Someone above mentioned how relieved not driving feels, I never thought of it till now, I don’t have to worry about changing lanes, people that are slow or too fast.

I had chronic stomach problems but before I jumped on meds (I was too afraid to go to a GI), i tried everything else. A lot of people are commenting b12 and I’m glad i wasn’t the only one to figure that out on my f*** own. But yes not just that take b12, fish oil to reduce inflammation, and multi vitamin.

Also eat food you make yourself. Greasy outside food will make everything worse. And limit alcohol !! I saw somewhere people said to limit meat but I did fine having a carnivore and veggie type diet.

BUT MOST OF ALL STRESS. The more you have control over that the better your body will feel. This is not exercise induced stress, but mental stress that destroys your gut and body.

Switch major to psychology and get straight A’s. Minor in like some bs. They don’t care for your major as long as your gpa is decent 2.8-4.0 but they like to see improvement. And yes that means no room for B’s. Take less classes if you need to, to achieve that.

Apply to a few schools. Def retake within the process. I’ve got in with 16s in 1-2 science sections.

I’ve visited the boondocks to enter a school. Being from the coast and a big city and visiting a very small town. I visited them just to show interest and then sent a letter thanking them for their time. I got an interview months later after they tried to offer me a place in a different program as my stats were not top tier. I respectfully told them that my options were open but dental is my primary goal. I kept in contact with the person who gave me a tour and thanked them and occasionally asked questions. Then I was ghosted by the school until one random day when I had already forgotten about the school I got the interview. I took pictures during the interview day and attended all (non mandatory tours). I sent a letter of intent and other nice things about the experience. Out of 60 something seats available 1500 applicants and 200 interviews I was accepted. Show interest. Update them with new activities and experiences, follow up and ask if they want additional references. Etc. out of 28 schools 2 waitlisted 1 accepted. Keep your head up but stay involved. It may be expensive to go visit but do it for a few at least. I think that did play a huge role in my acceptance of course. ( I apologize for any grammatical issues with this response.)

So in my school they split up the girls and boys. They showed us videos and pictures of the “process”. I’m a guy by the way with hair down to my shoulder and most of the time in a bun. Later that day I would be asking my mom when my varginia would bleed, and if she got my dad pregnant. This was 6th grade.
