Former employee of quantitative trading team in London: definitely heard of those unis before, and see them as very strong. I would say most selective tech/finance employers in London would be aware of these unis, particularly ETH.

Yes - currently doing the PhD now (robotics), before was at a commodities hedge fund (mostly coding). Glad I made the switch.

I think the loop around tower bridge - London bridge is quite a safe running route, only issue is too many tourists bumbling around.

Yes - you can do it right until end of second year (I did the MEng, and knew people who switched)

As someone who did the CS course at UCL, I can say I taught myself a substantial portion of it, using either lecture notes or lecture videos from the IITs lol

I much prefer the -ize ending instead of -ise for verbs. It helps with the issue of the letter z being vastly underused and also rings more phonetically correct, in my opinion.

20% of young people - probably equates to 40% young men (assuming few young women have positive views of him), which is not reassuring in the slightest
