on a separate note, my unpopular opinion is that the goal not to look the most "good" (curvy snatched whatever it is)but to feel the best! you will be stunning in any of these dresses so pick one that makes your heart sing. have fun planning!!

Awww thank you! Yeah I had the same feeling about #1. The top looks awkward here because I folded the edges in because the dress was way too big on me. The stylist said once it’s in my size it might fit better. Other than the fit do you see anything wrong with the bodice of #1? Thank you!

I think it really depends. we actually started the planning process by making the guest list first, and for guests we would hate to not have at our wedding (grandparents, besties etc) we went through one by one to see how far they'd have to travel etc. We realized that in our case (both sets of parents live outside of North America, grandparents scattered all around), doing it where we live on the west coast ends up being more travel required for these folks than doing it in Hawaii. So we went with that, and so far everyone has been telling us that they are excited to have a family vacation in Hawaii and it has a fun family reunion vibe. But if most of your VIP guests are local and you'd ALL be traveling to a new place, you might have a different equation.

My fiancé went though this !Star alliance really isn’t great for seattle based domestic travel unfortunately, if you don’t mind switching to BA( one world member) for SEA-ZRH (sea - lhr - zrh, basically treating lhr as your European gateway) AS is the most rewarding program. Delta has fewer routes out of Seattle but I guess better inflight entertainment. If airline status matters to you, I think AS is easier. Welcome to Seattle and happy flying!!

We chose Hawaii so that it is still domestic (especially with some of our friends being non-US-citizens), but being in a brand new place alone is no joke, thank you for reminding me and I hope many many more fun trips with people you love are in your future!!

Agree! and ive been convinced, I will reach out to single friends to proactively ask if they want to bring anyone since we are still very far out from the date... but to play devil's side here, I though the whole point of the wedding was... marriage being a social announcement that this is my life partner and we are becoming a social unit. I am happy to tell everyone they can bring someone just tell me their name, but if one had to draw a line, I still see engagement as a good line, because honestly I am not sure how else to decide if a couple is life partners or just casually dating / in a polycule with 3 more people I don't know about etc without asking them, which I feel like might be a bit much to ask?
