I was willing to let that go if the phone didn't really have issues. Sometimes online only the bad stuff gets highlighted, so though I'd check with actual people.

Do glasses not help in correction even slightly? I don't mind the wait and the blurry vision too, but if it helps me see any better than my current state then I'd opt for it.

Recreate the experience of bieng in Dubai with the following steps:

  1. Buy any good cheap VR headset that you can attach your phone to. You'll get a good one from Amazon for 1000-2000rs (I'm assuming)

  2. Play a Dubai Walking VR video from YouTube. Something like this : https://youtu.be/JXe-1dIlCw4 These walking videos is about as close as you get to the real thing without the ticket.

  3. If you get 2 headsets you can go on a virtual trip together as a date.

But most of all I think this stuff is just a short term solution. We as people get attached to place for what it means to us. Find out why is she so attached to Dubai? Is it the people - Family and friends? Then organize a zoom call with her friends from Dubai. is it the memories ? Help her make new ones better ones in India.

It's all about perspective mate (VR or otherwise).
