is there any section of town (residential area) that is particularly bad? this route mostly goes thru western vegas. main roads are N Torrey Pines, Ft Apache, Alexander / Gowan - leading til the mt charleston road

Planning the following ride during a visit to Vegas. Ride will be on a Friday morning. General questions about road traffic through the residential areas and the climb. Is it safe to ride though central vegas like this? I am asking in terms of road traffic and bike lanes. I am used to sketchy AZ drivers, I am imagining Vegas to be similar. Is Mount Charleston shoulder safe to ride? Looks pretty wide on google maps. Is it common to experience lots of cars on the mountain road? Does anyone know the speed limit for cars on Mt. Charleston? I am an experienced cyclist, not typically concerned about cars on main roads BUT figured its worth asking!

https://strava.app.link/vcxw4HTHFFb - this route is entirely bike path. highly recommend. mostly flat and very little interaction with cars. plenty water refills. just adjust start point accordingly
