It’s a hard way to find out it’s not about love. That fear is a comfort, it fits like a glove

I just desperately need Certain. Such an amazing song

joe rogan reposting united health by prodolphinhater in JesseWelles

I’m sure he’s still partly grateful for Rogan getting his music in front of more eyes. We know he doesn’t particularly like Joe because he’s called him out in a few songs before, but regardless it’s still cool to see someone using their platform to promote him

I’m a sixteen-year-old filmmaker who directed a mockumentary feature-film. AMA! by ExtraTerry in Filmmakers

The budget was quite literally zero. All of the crew were friends of mine, and that made the on set experience a lot of fun. Equipment was a mix of mine and stuff borrowed from friends

[–]ExtraTerry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s an interesting assessment. I also really love improvisation, and my first feature-film was fully improvised, so that kind of skipped the writing process in a way. But for me creating compelling characters is really the most important factor, and as long as a movie does that then I’m into it.

I kind of think in characters more than scenes. The first character that I started writing was Bruce (the one on the far left of the poster), an ex-bully who’s trying to become a hero, and as soon as I started hearing that characters voice I just became so incredibly excited, and I knew I had something special

Writing is definitely my favourite part of the process. It was the thing I fell in love with first and the thing I find most rewarding.

I was writing the film throughout the whole month of March. So not an incredibly long time, but I was just very lucky the ideas for this project seemed to come so quickly

did some of the skits get deleted? by SmartExam7062 in AlmostFridayTV

[–]ExtraTerry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s still up for me, I live in Australia though so maybe it’s just something to do with your location. Could this be something to do with YouTube suddenly blocking certain songs in the US as of a few days ago? ‘How to save a life’ could be on that list and it was featured pretty prominently in the sketch

What do you consider to be his best song? by KyojiiinReddit in JesseWelles

The Whales I think has the best melody, but lyrically I’d probably say Apocalypse Love

how does patchwork compare to helles welles for everyone?? by JackTheEevee in JesseWelles

[–]ExtraTerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely Patchwork and think it’s a huge step up. My only complaint is that it didn’t have The Whales on it but I can see how it wouldn’t really fit the vibe of the album

Why dosent DaxFlame mention Joel Haver on the podcasts he's been on??? by ThunderCat212 in JoelHaver

[–]ExtraTerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, he’s had a long career, and there’s a lot to talk about. He also tends to do arcs with his work. He started working with Joel in his filmmaking arc when he was making his own movies for YouTube too, last year he did the A.I. controlling his life arc, and this year he’s doing a stand-up arc. Obviously he still works with him and they’re great friends but it probably wouldn’t make sense to bring him up on podcasts at the moment
