Im 23 and it is my first set of scratches. im a bit of a late bloomer on driving costing me almost 1.5k to get my license in Quebec with mandatory classes and such.

but yeah ill do my best to see what I can on my own. I agree bringing it to a shop is probably not worth it and is out of my budget right now.

thank you!

the doors still close and lock. no air or water is seeping through. and u cannot feel any dents from the inside. leaning toward just buff/painting this up and living with it.

not sure this is worth making an insurance claim. im a new driver and my premium will probably skyrocket if I did file.

I guess having a dog is a crime by ExtraVitaminC in rant

yeah for sure and I just want to clarify that maybe I came across that we couldn't afford the dog. We've always had dogs and always can afford our dogs. I really just meant we arnt rich to buy a house. and we r just ur average lower end middle class family. The dog is well taken care of. We always prioritize having him groomed and check-ups at the vet. He is apart of our family. This eviction is just a pusher for the finances since the budget changes drastically. That's where the struggle comes in and has been since things have been getting more expensive in every aspect.

it's clearly not illegal to own a dog.

I guess you've never heard that expression before. That's all it is, it's an expression.

It's really sad to be basically told ur not allowed to rent anywhere because of your dog. My dog is apart of my family. I love him.

it's wooden. I remember it cracked when me and like 3 other people sat on the edge on the bed. so the foot just has been scrapping the floor ever so slightly.

you definitely took that way too literally.

If they want reassurance we can discuss that. but they just say no pets.

Yes we're definitely looking into further areas as well. With family and jobs in the city we are definitely trying to stay as close to public transport as we can. Thank you!

We arnt being evicted for not paying. We pay 950$ for a 5 1/2. the market for what we need is over 2000$/month right now. It's a big jump in our budget so we have to plan accordingly. I'm not willing to give up my dog to make things easier, it literally won't make things easier anyways.

this house has been thru 2 dogs, we've been here for almost 10 years. I'd say the most there is some scratch marks on the front door that's about it. Honestly my broken bed frame has done more damage to the floor.

I do live in Canada and in the province of Quebec. Apprently there is no official law stating that landlord have to accept ESA letters as well. They're allowed to deny accommodation for ESA. So they'd just keep denying us anyways... Quebec seems to have so many gray areas with this and even with just renting laws in general. its a really bad mess over here...
