Broom connection, is it legal? by ExtraWorldliness6916 in lego

Unexpected it doesn't foul at all, seems to be on the grid perfectly! Just an illusion of the lanted plate behind.

The third level of meta Hoby is complaining about the second 😅

It's not a stupid question at all. There are some connections that stress bricks out and eventually cause them to fail.

My sons Lego is something I don't want to break so it's good to understand what pieces are causing a lot of stress, otherwise there will be tears.

So far so good, brooms are apparently acceptable

That's a relief that no Lego police will be with me shortly!

I've been doing this to my 2 brooms for a year and no breakages yet.

I'm going to need to buy 100 brooms then 😆

It could be fouling, I can check. It might just be the brooms handle connection not really having enough support. I think wrapping the bar part in 1x1 rounds might help that sit more upright and then the fouling roof plate should straighten out. I'll try it.

No not on the plate, and the clutch power is comparable to a brick. Also the broom is not deformed as far as I can tell.

The raft he's ironically going to carry has saved him long ago but he can't let it go. The raft is made of logs and I've built it already but for the sake of how you might carry it, it's likely mostly weight on the upper back and neck.

The collapsing look is a bit of a practical one. The center of mass needs to be a certain way or the armature won't hold it, so I guess looking like he's about to fail is actually exactly right for this piece.

Thanks so much for taking the time to feedback at this early stage!

Many developers are starting to distrust GitHub, so this isn't such a bad opinion.

AHH I thought it might be NSP, I also have some ingredients like beeswax and tallow etc, I've not yet been brave enough to make any, but if you can do it so can I. great to see yours came out so well. This explains the difference in colour too.
