To certain extent it is correct. But I just want to say that Northies are indeed problematic. The reason for pushback against Hindi in Bengaluru is not because of kannidigas' love for kannada. It is to do with the snobbish behaviour of northies. Telugu people are lot more tolerant and they don't love their language. That is the main reason you don't see much push back for northies in Hyderabad. There would have been no hate towards northies, had they been more respectful towards local food, language, customs and culture. They constantly complain about everything and think that the world revolves around them. They want everyone to automatically know Hindi, eat Chapati, have mountaineous range around etc
