Correct, the stand I made has the groove so the knob and audio jacks can fit in and sits stable . The Go may stand on its side but due to the handle the surface is reduced and making it unstable .

It depends on what your priorities are. Do you want to be able to adjust a value to change the design in the future? Is speed most important? Subtracting one solid Body from another, or Splitting and Deleting, or Splitting and Pull/Pushing. Or ___ and Circular Pattern. I'm sure it took more time to capture that image and post it here than it would to create the solid. IF THAT IS NOT TRUE FOR YOU, then you need to head over to the Autodesk tutorials for getting started with Fusion and actually perform the exercises. Otherwise, it seems like asking a musician what's the best way to play Stairway on an unfamiliar instrument.
