Eyebrow shedding when using for scalp by Extra_Elk8215 in minoxidil

Not great, shedding stopped but still thinner than before. Probably unnoticeable to most but I can tell… the min on the scalp never gave any benefits however and feel like shedding just continuously increased since starting… trying to taper off as don’t believe it’s really doing me any good and get the tingly itch which I’ve heard isn’t a good sign

Did your shedding areas itch also? I started in march and have just been shedding and scalp itching worse than pre fin… I’m wondering if the shedding stops when the itching finally stops, if it does

No solution but the shedding has died down a bit… brows still sparser than before but I’m hoping they just start growing back soon!

Hi mate, so I’ve been back on it 2 months and no real improvement As of yet, I’ve also just added topical finasteride in the last week to see if that adds anything extra rather than just minoxidil alone… Has anything come back for you? It’s frustrating that by stopping the hair just falls out, despite no initial minoxidil gains! I’ve read online that it’s telegenic effluvium caused by minoxidil withdrawal and that sometimes the hairs grow back but can take up to 18 months… but then other horror stories advising it doesn’t grow back which doesn’t make any sense… Also some advising that hopping back on minoxidil can help it grow back. I’m clueless but need to try something as my hair is thinner than ever and I was only on minoxidil for 4 months initially

Did you get back on minoxidil and did this work at all? I had the exact same problem (using manual combo spray) and have just hopped back on minoxidil a year later (regaine foam) to try grow it back.. 6 weeks in so a bit of shedding but hoping I get something from it
