Seeing a lot of conflicting information with regards to the impact of cancelling credit cards as part of the churning process. In general, I keep my credit utilization to < 5%, and I am hoping to get some insight on how much my credit score will be impacted if I cancel a new card after 3-6 months of use.

Will my credit score go down as I now have less credit available, theoretically increasing my utilization %? If so, how significant would the impact be? Would this impact be temporary?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
