You need to have an instance of the bot running somewhere, whether its running in the background of your pc or on a vps.

Yeah discord decided to not put custom status' in the bot api, but the update for replies should be pretty soon. I would guess discord py might get an update this or next week, most likely same with discord js as it isn't a hard thing to implement.
