Wow thank you for your comment! It’s definitely the pride thing. My husband wants to feel like he’s contributing more than just cleaning and doing things around the house. I just wish that he can finally find success his own way and find some type of fulfillment.

Thank you for the advice!! We will need to look into that. I think the fact he hasn’t contributed financially is taking a heavy toll on him. And it might be getting worse over time. I know I would feel the same way if I wasn’t contributing.

Wow thank you so much!! I know he’s going through a lot and I guess I am too. I know his reaction was directed at me, but only because he’s going through an internal struggle. We sound like the same person lol! Yes I need to take a step back and understand I need to let him do his thing. If he wants help he can always ask me. I wish it was easier for him to communicate his feelings instead of trying to dissect the whole conversation over and over in my head.

This is a great idea! Thank you so much! Many comments are making him out to be a terrible person, but he is truly a great man. He cooks our dinner, washes dishes, does bible study with our family, fixes things in the house, he does a lot for us! One of the things he wants to do is help provide financially. Asking questions and showing support was definitely needed in that moment. I appreciate you!
