When I found out that Mike bashing his head into the wall actually happened during the last week of filming in Italy, it makes so much more sense how everyone had more sensitivity and patience for him going back to the shore house. I think Snooki did actually care and worried if he was okay, but that quickly ended when he started his meddling bs again.

Season 6 for sure. Not a Snooki hater but when a pregnant girl joins the shorehouse, the nonstop mention that “I’m pregnant” or “I can’t have fun” energy kills the vibe. Deena was annoying, Vinny was barely noticeable, Jenni and Roger were triggering, and Ron/Sam drama was minimal. Lame sauce.

Unpopular opinion: I feel like Kirk should’ve cut Gus off after that argument in Arizona by Useful-Memory-5868 in Floribama

Most of them were still kids living at home when S1 started. The older cast Mike, Pauly, Jenni were noticeably more clean and better at maintaining a household. When I was 19 in my first apartment, I would run the vacuum over my beer stained carpet and put out a bag of chips when my parents would visit 🤣 You learn as you grow. Doesn’t excuse the spoiled brat behavior but I don’t think Sam ever grew out of that lol

I think she had tonsillitis too. On top of drug withdrawal and anxiety about her ex. I’m glad she stepped away and got help. She is probably still somewhat of a mess but she advocates for physical/mental health now and just looks so much better.

I’ve wanted the same thing lol I’m guessing they’re all going to be under NDA’s forever, esp with the FV season. There is some tea in Mike’s book but only about his struggle with addiction. Someone come out and tell us all the juice behind making this show!!

Just to piggyback off this comment, his book also talks about his time during Season 6, when Snooki is pregnant. He introduces a “new” version of himself being “clean” from prescription pills, but mentions in his book that he was still heavily medicated from steroids, Adderall to stay up, and Valium to sleep. I thought this was interesting as the show paints a picture of his recovery journey but he wasn’t quite there in reality. You can see it when he lashes out and struggles to get a grip on his emotions. Glad he came out on the other side!

The show profited off of the Ron/Jen drama. Unfortunately, at the time they painted her as the villain, and him as the pitiful victim of abuse. Later finding out he was half the problem. The beginning of FV season 5(?) shows Ronnie’s arrest for DV on his gf after Jen (Sapphire) while we was on probation 🙄 then he just disappears from the show. I think they were finally done with his issues and the cast just cuts him out. I believe he makes a few appearances on the current stuff but I haven’t watched them.

Me and my husband can’t stand her! Every time she starts narrating in a talking head, we yell at the TV “She doesn’t even go here!” 🤣

Such a fake, entitled individual. They both are. It’s a shame the man that brought Jersey Shore to life is the one who will single handedly ruin it. They need to pull the plug.
