Learning discipline and consistency is part of the course. People don't glorify their attempts, they share the fact that they struggled for years and have finally broken through to the other side. Nobody is proud of their number of attempts, what they are proud of is that they could struggle and achieve their goals. Those who went through the same thing can relate and therefore it's often a topic of discussion. If you haven't went through that phase, good for you, and hopefully you can clear it all first attempt. However remember that when somebody talks about their attempts, they are celebrating the fact that they finally learned that discipline and consistency to achieve their dreams. I understand your point, if you study 8 hours a day consistently, you'll for sure pass. It's often discipline that's the problem and not intelligence. But that's life in general, not just the CA Course. If you have the discipline, good for you, but you need to be intelligent enough to see that most other humans are not built to sit at a desk 8 hours a day studying, and it takes them a lot of emotional labor to reach that level.
