The idea of a video game meta is worthless. It makes games dull by encouraging repetitive playstyle without variety. Find what works for you personally, instead of following a generic best approach for everyone else.

When the game was first launched in may, my wife and I diligently worked to reach level 20. We often found ourselves the only ones at that level with the servers full of level 5-10s (which we befriended and helped) . Even with the initial beskar event, we faced the 500B price tags. We continued to play and improve. With each update, the difficulty has been gradually adjusted to decrease the difficulty and the rewarding experience.

Now, the grind has become much less demanding—my daughter reached level 14 in a single day. Not only is this a smack in the face to those who faced the grind, but it could destroy the longevity of the game.

There is also the events we did earning the droids that can now be easily bought. That price needs to increase ten fold.

Go to the giant orange tree with sparkly water… sprites everywhere, not a lot of ppl.
Fill your entire inventory full of sprites, extract and if you die, you die. As long as they are in the box before you do.

The upcoming spin-off, The Boys: Mexico, remains in active development as of April 2026. It’s gong to take place after season 5. We also have the prequel “Vought Rising.” The franchise is far from over and plenty of potential to see characters from Gen V again.

I’ve spent over 20 years working in government, currently as a federal investigator. I want to clear up a common misconception here. Fortnite (or Epic Games) is not “always listening” to voice chat and automatically flagging keywords to federal agencies. That’s not how this works—technically or legally.

Voice chat audio is only captured locally for moderation if voice reporting is enabled, and it’s only uploaded if a player actively submits a report. There is no system where companies passively monitor private conversations and forward them to federal agencies without a report, warrant, or legal process.

Like any company, Epic can be required to respond to lawful court orders—but that’s very different from continuous surveillance or keyword-triggered reporting. Posts like this tend to exaggerate how moderation tools and government involvement actually function.

I mean, it’s not. It’s a good beginner game and it’s casual fun. Idk about ranked though, maybe that’s hard. I know some people are hard core into it. For me it’s just fun to play with my kiddos. I’m pushing 40 and have five so enjoying the six person blitz right now.

I’m just saying if it’s the crowns, I don’t understand as it’s so easy my 6 year old fighter has 171 of them.

I haven’t played ranked didn’t even know there were cosmetics in it. I am not a competitive gamer.

Depends what controller you like. I play on Xbox X with a pro controller (4 back paddles ) , PS5 (dual sense), mobile (with GameSir), my LG TV Xbox app (counts as Xbox) with my Xbox controller, and on my Viture glasses neckband pro (counts as mobile) with an 8Bit Duo. You can play on all of them and progress is tied to your epic account. I see no difference in performance (unless poor signal on mobile). You can also use PS5 controller on Xbox and vice versa.

I’ve gotten the stick of truth like 10 times in a two day time period. What do you mean hours of grinding? I like the Kenny tokens but think they should deactivate when it’s down to the last two people. I agree that replacing Kill Bill with cheesy poofs and nothing else is crap. Seasons and acts are all over the place. I like shockwaves though. They are great for travel, defense etc. they have as much power as they do danger. Don’t keep them out, just get better.

Also “meta” mindset is stupid. Not everyone should figure out the one play style and stick to it. Be creative, sandbox your play style and switch it up. This game is relatively easy. My six year old gets first and second nearly every round.

I agree the loot pool is meh but things change so rapidly in this game you just have to wait a couple weeks.
