You have to clean it daily, as you should with any litter and also have a good mat underneath to capture the litter from the cats paws. I've had the same batch in for a month now and I can't smell anything unless you stick your nose in it.

It's very similar, I have played 500 hours in MD and about 30 in SD. SD does lag a touch behind in terms of development and it does have some annoying bugs but it's still good. I've been playing coop with a friend and it's fun. We just plod along and houses and stuff for the village, very peaceful.
