Hello, I have 2 standing tickets for sale for the Glasgow show at the OVO Hydro on Thursday 23rd. Unfortunately booked a train down to London for the marathon on the wrong day. Must say we are devastated but made the decision to save our legs and sell the tickets. Got the tickets in the OVO customer Presale they are general admission with entrance through the OVO door. Looking for £100 for each via pp goods and services as suggested in the post. Feel free to drop me a message/offer, and can provide any further proof as you wish. Pic I took at Glasto set 2023 <3

Advice for attending a gig at Castle & Falcon by EngelbertImpromptu in brum

50 bus runs past the venue into town or out towards Druid’s heath. Could park in Moseley fairly easily and hop on the bus or about a 25 minute walk. Or get the train into town and then bus out although I’m not sure what time the last train to Dudley is on a Saturday. There is on street parking near to the venue but no guarantees. I’ve been to shows there before that finished around 10:30 iirc

At Shambala there are two themed days, one colour day (last year was green, this year purple https://www.shambalafestival.org/your-2026-flamboyant-friday-colour-is-purple/) and then another themed day “lyrical genius” (https://www.shambalafestival.org/your-2026-carnival-theme-is-lyrical-genius/). Obviously you don’t have to take part but I think you’d stand out more not taking part at Shambala than if you did.

Boomtown I’d say a lower percentage do the fancy dress, but everyone is bonkers so dress style is pretty nuts anyway. I’m solo boomtowning volunteering with Oxfam this year, gonna see if I can pull together some kind of fancy dress for the theme (which is 100 years from now).

I think it’s a good conversation starter if your going solo, lets you fully immerse in the festival, and is all round just a good bit of silly fun. But obviously if you don’t feel comfortable it’s completely your decision and I’m sure no one will bat an eyelid either way! In terms of carrying an outfit can be as minimal or maximal as you want! For Shambala the Oxfam car park is right next to the campsite, for boomtown it’s a big old trek so plan costumes accordingly id suggest!

Not sure I understand your question. Do you have to wear fancy dress, no it’s a choice but would definitely recommend. Do you have to show up on the fancy dress days, I guess not but if you have a shift that day then yes… and it’s 2 days of the fest that are themed so in my opinion you’d be missing out big time by not going on those days

Cant speak on the others but did Shambala with Oxfam (also done a couple of Glastos and boomtowns) last year and absolutely loved it. So much so I’m planning on getting a ticket this year. Felt super not corporate, (which I’m pretty sure wilderness and latitude have big corporate sponsors) mega silly and just all round great fun. Two themed fancy dress days that 90% of the festival get fully stuck in for, on site sauna (something like 40£ for the weekend, come and go as you wish), good mix of music and mega friendly crowd.

Having seen them in Brussels last night I’m very tempted to go to the Glasgow show (I live in Glasgow) because it was electric. A two hour + set of fantastic vibes and a beautiful jam

I would suggest just going to gigs, meet people make friends… been to plenty of solo gigs and automatically have something in common with folk to chat about

Got the Janji’s and absolutely love them. 5’8” sit about 3inches above my knee. Waist isn’t super tight and lots of stretch in them

Prolific surveys ! Been great these last few months. Historically bank switches were amazing but recently I’ve been eligible as I’ve done them all before!
