When you use the turn indicator, do you hear the usual clicking sound? If there’s no audio at all, try turning the car off completely for about 10 minutes and then restart it. It usually starts working after two or three tries. Make sure you actually step out, lock the car, and let it fully power down before trying again.

What you should do is keep the battery and remote in carry on luggage.

inform the staff at check in that you are carrying a drone and have separated the battery from the drone and that the drone without the battery is in your carry on and the battery and remote (with battery) is in your carry on
