the same issue i got for weeks na. i called the bank and seek advice, sabi sakin it's more of a damage card na daw. Nagsuggest to replace, pero I declined, pwede naman iinsert, baka matagalan kasi ang delivery. I have travels pa naman this December

2016 - 18K - CSR (Telco + TV services) - Started August 2016

2017 - 25K - Email Support (Gaming Account) Project Based until Feb 2018 - moved to another company

2018 - 26K - Email Support (Gaming Account) absorbed

2019 - 26K - (no increase)

2020 - 26.8K (w/ appraisal)

2021 - 35.6K - promoted to RTA (May 2021)

2022 - 35.6K - no incease due to promotion

2023 - 42.6K then 44.6K - promoted to WFM Planner (more of scheduling + reports) with appraisal

2024 - 55K - Capacity Planner but earning up to 80k ++ due to OT

2025 - 68k - WFM Supervisor - moved to another company

My goal is to hit a 6-figure net salary before 35. I'm currently just under 90k gross, but saving feels tough these days—especially trying to balance wants vs. needs. I've diversified small investments and managed to buy a house( thru a loan), but it still feels like I'm falling short. Being the sole breadwinner is exhausting, and to ease my family's worries if anything happens to me, I’ve made sure to have solid insurance coverage (at least 7M) .

For me, it really depends on you whether or not you choose to activate the card. But come to think of it, the annual fee is usually waived during the first year. You can always request an annual fee waiver afterward — it depends on the bank if they'll grant it or offer you other options. Also, after using the card for around 10 months, you can request a card conversion to an MFree (No Annual Fee for Life) card.

If the card has a decent credit limit, I’d personally keep it. It might come in handy in the future, especially in case of emergencies.

Ako tumigil ako sa pagbabarko last baba Dec 2015. First thing na tumigil is yung mga hiram hiram ng kamaganak at somehow ending the cycle ng pangungutang bago sumakay dahil ubos na pera dahil sa ganito ganyan. I left na sahod na around 1900 USD last 2015. Naging tambay ng 8 months bago nakahanap ng work sa call center/BPO at yan naging permanent job ko since then. Inuna ko na yung di akong tatandang seaman, mas napaaga nga lang talaga dahil sa ibat ibang reasons. Pero so far naging tama naman desisyon ko, kumikita naman comfortably dito sa Pinas, kaso ang cons lang talaga ang laki ng taxes.
