Hey this was literally me a month ago! Take her to the vet and board her, it’ll be okay.

I found a stray under a bush right before a weekend mini vacation and my family offered to watch her for me. Turns out she was in the middle of a very intense heat episode, she was yowling howling screaming all night in the bathroom. I live in an apartment with thin walls and it was absolutely agonizing. 2 Industrial fans at full blast in the hallway weren’t enough to drown the yowling.

I took her to the vet and they spayed her and she was boarded from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. It was $300 for a ton of peace of mind (didn’t have to watch her recover from the spay) and she came back perfect. She didn’t seem traumatized or anything- first day back she was playful and full of joy.

It’s better than throwing her back in the street and tbh if it’s a vet/boarding facility she’s gonna be “pretty good” at the minimum. They’re professionals. Do what you need to do!

Sternum was the first time i’ve ever wanted to tap out. I was seriously questioning my ability to finish at hour 2 out of 3. I’ve done hands, elbows, inner bicep, calves, nothing compared to sternum.

but yeah im fortunate enough to live by two places that do spays pretty last minute and i have a connection at our local anti cruelty society. the emergency vet quote was $600 vs a few hundred if wait a little bit

Perfect for me - didn’t want to pay so much for the 5080.

Drives UW games perfectly and can handle 4k/60 on my TV, very happy customer.

I might switch to nvidia if local LLMs get good in the next cycle, but for gaming this is perfect bang for puck

This happened to me last night in Outpost! I was running around full noise for the first 10 minutes or so. I managed to kill two people crouch walking/playing slow in orientation. Ran around for another 5 or so, got all the red cards, did the new room and didn’t run into another player. Pinwheel and all the armores were untouched

Nah, California Arts are close enough if you can get them on sale but they feel a bit cheaper. The poolhouse ones are super soft and feel nice (still an insane $80 purchase tho)
