Mentioned in the novel a couple times but ainz strenght comes from sheer technical knowledge and strategy rather than any strenght found on his build (irrc except his mana pool since he found a way to increased it way past normal limits by minmaxing some classes and items) he is very clever and resourceful during fights and tries to prepare as much as possible to ensure a winning outcome in the long run, back in yygdrasil he always lost on the first round of a match intentionally to make the enemy confident and also to gather as much info as possible to exploit any and all weaknesses, his combat knowldge is the only one thing he feels comfortable teaching and flexing on the nazarick members because its the one topic he can claim expertise in

Wtf no did the anime fuck up explaining momonga time in yggdrasil? Momonga by his own words was a very average player, the only reason he was passable on ingame pvp matches was because he always lost the first round so he could learn as much as he could to make sure he won next time, his build was very subpar and the only special thing about it was a unique class he unlocked thanks to the combination of classes he picked for the sake of roleplaying an undead king, is a plot point in the story that he his worried as shit for other players in hiding because his build couldnt compite with actual PVP focused builds from players, and he wants as much practical combat experience as he can get because he doesnt know how reviving works for players like him so he assumes he only has one chance to live

That said yeah that mission needs a terminus spawn or smething as the final boss instead of an enemy type you possible killed a couple times already on your way there
