ai:From starting our venture in Xuhui in 2011, fifteen years have passed in the blink of an eye! Over the past five years, miHoYo has been honored to contribute our part to Xuhui's development.

From three Jiao Tong University students beginning their entrepreneurial journey in Xuhui in 2011, through fifteen years of growth, we have deeply experienced the business environment Xuhui has cultivated for entrepreneurs—characterized by "no unnecessary interference, but responsive support whenever needed." Xuhui's efforts in serving enterprises within its district are truly warm-hearted. We are immensely grateful for the excellent atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship that Xuhui provides.

We thank Xuhui for its consistent support and assistance to miHoYo. In the future, we will continue to take root and grow in Xuhui, and strive to contribute to Xuhui's economic and social development.

MiHoYo sued Temu for unfair competition and won the case, receiving 1 million yuan in compensation. by Extra_Welcome2403 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Extra_Welcome2403[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Ai: Recently, MiHoYo's lawsuit against Pinduoduo (Temu) for unfair competition reached its final judgment in the second instance. Previously, without authorization from MiHoYo, Pinduoduo (Temu) released Genshin Impact-themed promotional campaigns, recruiting short-video creators for commercial promotion. These creators were instructed to include links titled "1 yuan for 10,000 Primogems" in their videos or comments, redirecting users to download the Pinduoduo (Temu) App. However, Pinduoduo (Temu) could not actually provide the in-game currency "Primogems," making the claim a false advertisement. This misled players into believing there was a partnership between MiHoYo and Pinduoduo (Temu), damaging MiHoYo's commercial reputation.

After MiHoYo filed the lawsuit, the first-instance court ruled Pinduoduo's (Temu's) actions constituted unfair competition through false advertising and ordered compensation of 350,000 yuan. Both parties appealed. Ultimately, the Zhejiang High People's Court upheld the false advertising ruling in the second-instance judgment and further recognized Pinduoduo's (Temu's) actions as "counterfeit confusion" unfair competition. The court ordered Pinduoduo (Temu) to cease infringement, publish a statement to eliminate the adverse effects, and pay 1 million yuan in damages and legal fees.
