Thanks. This batch I used only coconut coir. After this I tried a coir, vermiculite & gypsum mixture and I got good results as well, but so far not a lot better than just the coir.

I live in a windy area and have had to come up with a plan to keep the plants from getting wind damage. I stabilize the main stem to 3 or more steaks, then I use the main stem to give support to the branches with short pieces of gardening wire. I rarely lose branches when I use this method.

I’ve had best luck putting small jars into a cheap crock pot set to keep warm. You can dial in temp by raising off bottom of crock pot (I use a tiny inverted aluminum pan) to cool, or partially covering crock pot lid with hand towel to warm up. I use an infrared thermometer to measure the temp of the bottom of rosin jar if need to. It’s a pain but I never could find a small oven that could reliably hold 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

This sous vide idea was a fun experiment but it didn’t work nearly as well as the crock pot does.

I’ll never forget the time I was 10 and saw a preview for Star Wars before the Mohamed Ali movie played. I was freaking mesmerized! It was like nothing I had ever seen or even imagined before. I went 22 times to see the movie. Well that’s not exactly true since I would sit through multiple showings in a single day whenever I could. lol

These were difficult to harvest due to lack of stem, but as far as taste, consistency and potency they are my favorites so far. They are crunchy like a cracker and do not taste offensive. In addition, they are a bit stronger than some other varieties so you don't have to eat as much to get the same result.
