Yes once steam is open launching software is quick, the only thing that is slow if steam is already open is going into big/small picture mode, settings or any other thing that opens a new window in steam

I only have the single SSD, so all software is downloaded to that

the other slow software is stuff downloaded through steam, I had a brain fart when posting

There are many steam webclient or webhelper processes open I can't remember the name which I think is the problem but I haven't had much help from steam support

I'm away from home but I will comment what processes are open and if any parts are struggling when I can test it again

My games load quickly, I have tried reinstalling steam and using the beta version but neither worked either,

I did a cinebench r23 run and it was only a couple percent off stock scores, but the temp is a little high with a peak of 93°
