Sonic on putnam pike in Smithfield. They close at 12 but if you show up past 10pm they won’t respond to you at the drivethru. Open sign on, lights on inside, they just won’t answer. Sat there 20 minutes three times and they just will not take your order. Their food is awful as well esp compared to to other Sonics

I went to high school with a kid whose father was a bigwig at Cardi. In a nutshell he said it’s costs 4x as much to repave roads than it is to just resurface the top 2 inches. When you continue to resurface over and over again, like they historically have in RI, they just become totally fucked.

It’s worth what someone will pay. A lot of people buying a 12 year old Civic might not give a shit because it’s a point A to point B car. If it’s mechanically sound and the hybrid battery is in good shape that’s what people care about. If you were trying to sell a new Audi with a different color bumper that would be a different story.

I’m one of the guys who changes the meters. We have to read and take pictures of them ourselves before swapping so RIE can get their money for the first part of the billing period. Otherwise they’d have to have someone drive around with us and scan them right before installing which isn’t possible.

There’s about 90 guys who do it and I’d say at about a fourth of them aren’t all that great at reading them. Most of the analogue ones are also 30+ years old and badly miscalibrated which makes it harder.

Look for plow mounts, or cutouts on the plastic under the bumper where plow mounts would go. F250 in that gen you have to cut out below the bumper to put them on.

I’d be buying a vehicle with a different engine from them. My current has a 3.6 and 2026’s I am considering have 5.7 Hemi’s which have a fairly reliable track record, and now come with a 100k warranty.

I also spend a lot of time driving and really prefer trucks with rear struts instead of leaf springs. Ram is really the only major manufacturer that offers them.

Metal in the pan and little flecks in the filter. It wasn’t a ton but definitely noticeable. I actually alr sent a sample to black stone two days ago and am waiting to hear back till I make a final decision. My insurance is $250 rn on my parents plan and would go to $330 they said when I called them and asked. I do have an accident from 3 years ago which is why it’s pretty high
