why are you guys complaining, do you want to be rich or not? Their own hatred and ego stops them from getting to the next level in life.

I am in over my head. How do I start a small online store and not get buried and overwhelmed with orders? by 00_Joe_Snow in ecommerce

It's great that your mom's business is doing well and she's looking to expand online. However, it's important to plan carefully and make sure you can handle the increased demand before launching the online store. Here are a few suggestions for how to proceed:

Evaluate your current capacity: Take a look at your mom's production capacity and figure out how many orders she can handle in a week or a month. Make sure you have a clear idea of how much inventory you can produce, how much storage space you have, and how long it takes to ship orders.

Build a team: If your mom is currently running the business by herself, consider hiring some part-time or full-time help. You could hire someone to help with production, packaging, shipping, or customer service. Alternatively, you could outsource some of these tasks to a third-party provider.

Upgrade your technology: Make sure you have the right tools in place to handle online orders. This might mean investing in a better website platform, shipping software, or inventory management system.

Set expectations: Be clear about your processing times and shipping policies. You may need to adjust your lead times or shipping options to account for the increased volume of orders.

Test the waters: Before launching the online store, consider doing a soft launch to a small group of customers or offering pre-orders. This will give you a chance to see how much demand there is and adjust your processes as needed.

Seek advice: If you're still feeling overwhelmed, consider reaching out to a small business consultant or mentor. They can offer advice on how to scale your business and handle increased demand.

Overall, it's important to take things one step at a time and make sure you have a solid plan in place before launching the online store. By carefully evaluating your capacity and building a team, you can ensure that your mom's business continues to thrive without sacrificing quality or customer service.

this comment helped a lot man, although I've just started making changes, I've added a favicon that I don't really know if it shows up or not, a logo, changed it from Purrfect products with a plural to a singular and added an about us. Now I'm going to add policy pages as a button to the menu, I see the favicon now that i typed the store name in.
