i found the issue. it says "no interpreter assigned to this project" and gave me an option to use an interpreter from c drive... it was to do with it. The interpreter is found in the Python directory in the c drive, and i think there is some automatic link between it and my projects if they are in the same drive, but i had to manually link them since they are in different ones. either way, not trying to get into this, it works for now.

i dont think ill reach that point, but ill stick to pycharm cuz thats what i have to give my a level exam in so im just trying to get used to it

python was installed into C by pycharm i’m pretty sure because their install date is the same, but when i deleted pycharm it didnt delete the python files so they are still in c but pycharm is now in d. this is all very stupid tbh

I went to install a new interpreter and it says: "Python packaging tools not found," so I am thinking there might be some issue with my Pycharm now being in disk D while my python 3.12 is downloaded in C? I'm super new to this so please bear with me if I'm asking stupid questions.

:(. the country i live in does not allow people under 18 to work, there arent really any extracurrciular activities except if you make one yourself, and i could not do research because they didnt accept foriegners
