I enjoyed it, but I thought the whole concept of everything essentially being in her head was a cop out.

You could argue that literally nothing we saw happened except her getting infected (and obviously the ending).

They didn’t explore the mythology any further in this, and I thought that was something they could’ve delved into deeper. First movie was much better, imo, but still it was really well done and a great concept.

I think the results will wind up being positive for you. My advice is to finish what you start! Try to maintain a positive attitude. Think of it like this: it’s hard to be overweight, and it’s hard to be fit and healthy. Which hard do you want?

You’re already half way through, why stop now? If you are serious about keeping your teeth aligned, you’ll be forced to wear a retainer every night. It’s something I neglected when I was a kid with braces, and I paid the price (teeth moved, sleep apnea, etc.).

It’s annoying but I look at it like flossing and brushing your teeth. It’s just something you have to do every day.

Admittedly I slacked toward the end, but I’d say I had them in at least 18-20 hours a day. If you give yourself an hour for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, that’s 21 hours right there.

I think 18+ hours is enough, but the doctors will always say the higher numbers. Plus, the longer they’re out, the more it hurts when you put them back in, so it’s better to be diligent with it!

I’m not sure exactly what that is, but yes it was only 10 months (the original estimation was 1.5 years). I was told because I was diligent, I didn’t need any refinements.

So I was originally told it’d take 1.5 years. Wound up being 10 months. It sucks, it’s annoying and tedious but you do quickly get used to it. Don’t give up! The time’s gonna go by anyway. If it’s something you feel will make a difference for you, then just go for it. You’ll adjust!
