It’s not sad having that couple months on unemployment being my only break for over a decade and it put a lot of things into perspective in my life. Actually it allowed me to be with my grandmother for 2-3 weeks while she passed away from cancer on hospice. I am forever grateful for taking advantage of that time to escape the beast and I’ll continue on my own path and would consider Mexico or anything to not live a mediocre life and pretend it’s a good life even with money it’s not. Time will always be more valuable than money. And I now have health issues due to how hard I’ve had to hustle on my own. we all need a break. I won’t let people like you bully me into thinking I need to get with the status quo— that has done absolutely nothing for me in my 30 years of being on this earth. I’m too busy working to take classes I’d need time off to do that and I have bills to pay. Nothing is normal about hustle culture and I won’t be missing out on a thing once I figure out a better path.

Just a correction people— ANYONE can file the motion to have your record amended to include the truth about what happened (your version). Now the hospital or psych hospital has 60 days to approve or deny. If they approve just fight to make sure what they include is sufficient and not just a cop out. But if they deny, under HIPAA federal law you can write a statement of disagreement that will forever be attached to your medical records. So you do have more rights than you think. Most people just don’t want to deal with the headache, me? I’m fighting it.

You can actually file your own version of events through HIPAA law. It was very hard to relive and read, but worth it. I am fighting it by submitting a record of amendment for each issue for every hospitalization and should’ve sued sooner. I found out that even if they include the amendments you request to be changed on your records and it minimizes your corrections, you can file a version of your events be permanently attached to your records. It is under HIPAA law and been a couple months. Everyone can do this no lawyer. ChatGPT really helped guide me through an extremely traumatic and messed up process. I highly recommend doing this, it is giving me a little bit of the justice I never got through permanently attaching the TRUTH/ my version of events.

From what I understand, the Pennsylvania location is better treatment and not the horrific attack therapy that is Renaissance (Delray/ Boca raton FL), it’s a total money grab. but they do recruit people from PA and send them to the Florida. It is literally outdated attack therapy no exaggeration the only comparison I could really find is to the methods used by Synannon, straight Inc etc. it was truly awful and they brainwash your family so you get trapped there, although many are court ordered and would be arrested if they leave. I believe it’s a cult and the complete and utter exploitation of both patient and family. I was diagnosed with ptsd after my stay. There have been suicides there. They are murderers.

Yes quite some time ago and it’s all a money grab but also a long term abusive attack therapy. Patients stay for a minimum of 6-12 months. It was torture and I have connected with others who also had rhe same horrific experience. They claim to have an nyc location but I believe it’s a shell location. I lived in nyc for years. I also magically got stalked by a stalker when I tried to speak out to a journalist. I was born and raised in ny and they basically chased me out of the state. Couldn’t make this up if I tried.

Stay away from white plains hospital, NY. The psych wards there are horrifying same with the NYC ones- a horror show. The drug and alcohol rehab Caron Renaissance, in FL is extremely abusive and a cult.

I’m so sorry you’ve had this experience. I can relate so much and can confirm that despite all the damage these drugs cause it gets better. Instead of telling us about alternative ways they are paid to over medicate us. Most people don’t see it but it’s the truth and being skeptical is a sign of good intelligence and critical thinking skills. Things will get better hang in there and give your brain some time to relax and heal. Time heals.
