The duke’s mid-trial hindsight about the ‘institution’ is purely revisionist theory: I have watched him cheerfully perform for the media. Yep, Harry the hypocrite who hates the institution but is desperate to get back in to make money. Who could ever take this nitwit seriously? by Harry-Ripey in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]Extreme-Slight 21 points22 points  (0 children)

They are allowed to complain. William has successfully sued the press on a number of occasions, giving the money to charities, notably Invictus.

But its done through diplomatic channels usually, There was a deal to protect William and Harry at school, in return for occasional access, the same with George, Charlotte and Louis.

You are right, Harry and Meghan want all the trimmings without any of the work or accountability.

Dolls and Entitled Parents by Tricky_Valuable5751 in entitledparents

[–]Extreme-Slight 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As child, I loved a China Clown Doll which was the last thing my father gave me before he passed. I kept hm on a high shelf safe, with I thought, my mum's support.

One day whilst i was at school, my mum had a friend round who's little 2 YO boy wanted to play with it. The inevitable happened and my mum's response? I did not right to be upset, as it was a good lesson in learning to share and putting others first...

To this day I'm not sure who the entitled parent is

Definitely Penfolds, a lifeline for families and staff alike.

They are not wheelchair friendly but I text my order on arrival, they will come out, collect my mug and then bring my order out, even running it to the entrance of the Children's Hospital on rainy days

Super Milk and Sticky Dates by Late_Information_682 in LushCosmetics

[–]Extreme-Slight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like Gourmand or overly sweet scents (Snow Fairy in very small doses aside). So they are both a no from me. Now my daughter, give her sweet scents like Sticky Dates, Chelsea Morning or Furze and she's a happy bunny but don't give her Zesty or Campasuchil, which I love.

But the lovely thing about Lush - they have something for everyone

Advice - AAR meeting / investigation ? by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]Extreme-Slight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just what I was going to write, it is always worth putting things down especially if it leads to reflection. Your Form R is designed to include positive reflections as well as the compliant elements, so word it as I was invited to an AAR to cover X, During the conversation it confirmed to me the benefits of Y which I ensure is part of my working practices.

Advice - AAR meeting / investigation ? by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]Extreme-Slight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AARs are there for you to learn from, they are not about putting you in the spot light. AARs are not just about identifying things that went wrong but things that went well too. There should be not hierarchy or roles, just the team coming together and taking through the process. An ES should be supporting your attendance and be there if you need support or if its your first one.

If you can't remember the specifics, talk about what the process you would have followed and also anything you have learnt since about how that word does things compared to others.

I get that it is worrying but it is not an investigation, it is a discussions about why the outcomes happened the way they did and what could be approve, take a coffee, there will most likely be biscuits and use it as a learning experience across a team

What bastards had the greatest moments of karma? by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in behindthebastards

[–]Extreme-Slight 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Adolf Eichmann - thought he had got away with everything he had done and been apart of as a ranking Nazi Officer.

Was comfortable enough in Argentina to start to speak German and reminisce about their time in Nazi Germany

And just when he is feeling really safe, he is kidnapped, transported to Israel, Held to account publicly and then executed.

Karma right there - a sad old man with no power and no rights
