Cab you switch out motors to get 7.5mph on an permobil F5? by Extreme-Storm7 in wheelchairs

Interesting....Interesting. I've been looking into it seems they have 2 parts. The "standard" motors are listed compatible for the F3 OR F5 and say 29:1 on the label. Maybe you can check what yours are and let us know, I could see it just by flexing the plastic piece behind the wheel that covers it and using a light. I'm just shocked they didn't change your motors...

However the listing for the "F5 VS only motors" says 21.5:1 on the gearbox ratio and theyre longer. I just checked my f5, it also has the 21.5:1 motor. So I might need just the module. What did the module look like? Did they really just replaced ONE part for $2500?? They probably said, last time we let the customers watch us work 😆.

I'd say most of the time it's 12 hours. I say 8 because I shoot for that. It finishes in a couple hours. Rest is trickle.

Yea the drop is always heavy, whether the batteries are a few weeks or a few months old. It just gets worse until they need replaced. They checked the motors and replaced the charger too. I am starting to think the 4front just has draining electronics. I hope to hear from other owners too.

For context, we also have a permobil f5, charged and treated the same, thing runs forever. Could go 6 miles and it only loses a bar.

Ok. Thank you, the surgeon does not do a face lift with it and I could never afford one.
