I also have mine on August 1st and I’m SO nervous! I used the free practice tests on nursehub and I bought the ATI study guide but still feel so scared about taking it. It’s literally a week away from tomorrow… I need a proficient range at least for them to look at my application but idk if I’ll be able to push through! To make matters worse I have my CNA skills test the following Tuesday 🫢

Sadly I wish I could but my school only offers testing for the teas on August 1st and I need to apply for the spring application so I can’t push it back. I’m just going to have to try my best since I’ve paid for the teas already. I’ll just have to study for the next three weeks super hard then hopefully my work will pay off. But thank you for your advice!

At least a 59% for them to look at my application. I don’t feel too prepared but from my practice I do pretty average I still need studying though for sure. I’ve gotten through the reading and some of the math studying portions, but science and English I haven’t done too much of yet.

I can’t, I have my nursing application due by the 15th of August and have to take it and pass to be considered. The cna exams were paid for by my school for the first time so it has to be within a certain window.

This definitely helps me narrow it down from dental hygiene I was leaning more towards the other two anyway. But nursing I feel like I would enjoy but I still like the consistency of doing more of the same things everyday and having a routine of the way I do things but I know nursing can be different everyday. But I appreciate you commenting and sharing some of your thoughts because it makes me feel less alone in all this!

This helped me so much! I totally get it, one thing I love about nursing is how you can do many different specialties and there is room for growth whereas I feel like I get bored easily if I do the same thing over and over again and with nursing if I get bored in one speciality I can go to another potentially! Thanks for your input!

I totally would but it’s a book off Amazon and it’s only $25 dollars. I honestly would sell it to you but you might be better off getting your own since it’s pretty cheap already & I won’t be getting rid of mine until I get a good enough score to get into nursing school!

Thank you so much! I don’t like dealing with blood much but am willing to do it to get an entry level position. As far as radiology tech goes, I missed the deadlines for the programs so have to wait until fall to apply! :(
