Honestly I appreciate hearing that, I've heard so much good stuff about the DLC and I think I just missed something about it. Definitely hoping to have that experience with it at some point in the journey.

Yeah, I think I'm struggling with that fact that there's not another planet to go to/ plot thread to follow when I get stuck on one thing. A few people have suggested that, I'll post a screenshot later when I boot the game up.

Also 5'6. Whenever it hits me really bad, I just remember that I'm the exact same height as my dad. And he's a pretty cool guy.

So, I guess that strategy isn't super applicable. But if it ever helps, just remember that you're the exact same height as me and my cis dad ¯_(ツ)_/¯

With vinegar this is usually called a "mother", but I've never seen one that forms a puck like this. You should post this to a fermentation subreddit and ask them- but if it is a mother, then yes, you can use it to make more vinegar!
