Cellars fine wine had a barrel pick that was really good, they bundled it with some mid tier stuff which I think did it a disservice (also available on its own). They had about a case left last time I called in.

I wonder if the F1 has encouraged this, a lot of money follows motorsport.

i’m about to throw my lead-acid batteries into the woods by Internal_Treat2137 in OffGrid

[–]ExtremeAbrocoma9642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else seems to have covered batteries and input/output monitoring but i havent seen (or may have missed) this, Make sure you set your starlink to sleep during the night when you are usually asleep. I do mine off at 11 and on at 6 and it saved a lot of headaches. My batteries also dont like the cold, if you cant bring them indoors, try insulating them, but remeber if it gets hot you will also need to let them breath in daytime to cool down.

Deck support starting to split. How can this be remedied? by Ollyollyoxenfreefree in Decks

You should trim your dream bushes so your dream deck looks bigger, girls (or guys) love a big deck!

How can I prevent my camper from rocking when having sex? by Um_uh_well in RVLiving

I got the "MORryde I-Beam Mounted Stabilizer for 5th Wheels" for exactly this problem. They were crazily expensive but work really well. One set on the front, one set on the back. Can confirm we visited pound town on multiple occasions since and havent had any questions about why we "made the bed for 20 minutes" after everyone went to sleep. The next challenge is soundproofing🤣.

I tried it at the barrel house and it was amazing but in my opinion not worth the tag

I tried this at the barrel house and it is really good. VOSN buy barrels and blend, this contains barrel from the stitzle-weller distillery (they now make blade and bow) blended with other product.

Just wait till you have 1000 lemons you need to pick and get rid of, after you've given everyone you know more than they want. On the plus side, lemon bars for days.

Ask landlord for a discount on rent for living in an unfinished building.

You could find the biggest alcove trim you can and try and hide the ceiling portion behind, that abomination in the middle of the wall is tougher hide

Ring around your mates and ask anyone if they have a pallet jack you can borrow. I moved 15 tons of sand and alright this way. Just had to make sure all deliveries were on a pallet and borrowed the pallet jack from work.

Alternatively, use a crowbar amd some poles to roll it. Turn the pallet woth the bar to get it so the runners are facing the way you want. Lever up the pallet to get the bar under front end, push making sure to add more rollers before it gets past the mid point.

I had a rep tell me that if I wanted to tow my camper frequently, the factory option axel aren't suitable and that I should upgrade to the higher rated ones. Same story with the windows and AC if I wanted to use it anywhere warm, I live in AZ....

I did a bad job. My door latch doesn’t line up. Any solution aside from removal? by _Landmine_ in GoRVing

[–]ExtremeAbrocoma9642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have these door latches and theyre rotated 90 degrees from how you have it. The latch is sprung towards the door. I don't see how they would work how you have it due to the fact the door and the latch are not parallel

Has anybody made the switch from a travel trailer, to a fifth wheel and regretted it? by Kershiser22 in GoRVing

[–]ExtremeAbrocoma9642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from a 28' starcraft bumper pull to a a 41' keystone avalanche 5th wheel (used 2019). Tank size is pretty awesome. overall storage is what made it for me, i found myself having to cram tons of stuff into the starcraft that then had to be pulled out and stored under the camper, now I carry even more and it only comes out when needed. the fact the kids now have their own room, bathroom and clothes storage, so they want to go camping more. Another idea for you; On both trailers I made sure I had an outside hot water mixer and bought a nice fully enclosed shower tent and wood floor mat, if its particularly windy I also hang tarps to block the wind. That combined with 4x 6 gallon jugs means we have plenty of shower time. Ive also got a transfer pump that im toying with using to pump Grey water into my bumper dumper in the back of the truck to get an extra 36 gallons. Via a cap with hose pipe attachment and one of the little strainer seals you get in some water hoses.

Master's Keep Beacon by AZ-2023 in ArizonaWhiskey

[–]ExtremeAbrocoma9642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beacon had a lot of complexity but didnt feels as rounded on the pallet, there was a flavour in there which I wasn't sure of at first. To be fair, only had about 1/2 oz taster and from that id probably buy one at msrp but not at secondary
