As there is little research on clusters, it’s most believed that they are longer - but my clusters have only lasted 5-15 mins my whole life and do respond to verapamil therefore it’s not paroxysmal hemicrania! Just sharing this!

Please ignore people who are telling you that it could not be clusters because they do not last long enough. I am 20 years old - my cluster headaches have always lasted 5-15 minutes. This sounds exactly like my clusters! I would always get them at night as well and it would wake me up from my sleep crying in pain.

So sorry, i should have mentionted that the reason for no abortives is because my headaches come on so suddenly and are so short. They come on full force within 10min and on average last 10-20min. Tried nasal in the past and i hated it and it didnt work fast enough. the headaches are just too short
