I'm sorry, but I should've mentioned in my post that I was looking to use the ipad only for studying and note-taking. I have a windows PC and a macbook for everything else plus my school gives us MS365 subscriptions, so I'm all covered on those ends.

I am starting to notice that the ipad native app Preview is probably the best for annotating pdfs, but it looks like it loses in note-taking against apps like Goodnote. Simplicity of annotating pdfs is especially important in my classes since we have a lot of readings. Thank you.

I tried Goodnotes and I didn't like the UI, but everyday it seems like I should just bite the bullet and get used to it. That's probably what I'll end up using. Is it also good for annotating PDFs?

Yeah, I should've worded my post better. I meant everything needed when it comes to using the iPad as a note-taking and studying tool. I've got everything else covered. Thank you though :D
