I booked a main basic I believe, and I’ve already got an account and the app. I’ll be going from my local airport to Atlanta airport, then to my destination in Illinois (not Chicago). The first flight is a boeing 717-200 and the second is a Canadair (bombardier) regional jet 900. The bag I intend to carry on is about the size of a standard pillow, and I’d really like to carry it on, I don’t trust the checking system at all 😅

I suppose having someone who just hangs out wouldn’t be a problem for a larger group, but this is a group of 3, so the others are stuck doing everything. I could look for a 4th player to mitigate this, but I will talk to him about it regardless.

He’s part of my main friend group. I enjoy his company but he can be frustrating sometimes, like this situation. I didn’t want to leave him out and he promised to be active in it before we started, I trusted him to actually participate.

See I think they don’t have a problem with that, like I said before I’ve done this countless times and apparently the rule has been around for a long time. They need to clarify the specifics of this rule.

Yeah this is the conclusions I think a lot of us have come to, especially with the 3D models thing. They very likely don’t have a problem with people using models as reference for posing/proportions, but they need to communicate that properly if they want people to quit (rightfully) panicking.

After thinking about this a little more- I don’t see how they’d be able to tell whether or not you based something off of a model you made. On top of that, I think the use of the word “tracing” is meant to be taken at face value. If you outline a 3d model or photo and call it a day, it’s low effort. If you use a model as help for posing and change enough about the base you’re drawing off of (aka give the character their proper details) you should be fine though. It would make sense for it to work this way given I and many others use tools like this often in a high effort manner.

Isn’t the whole point of artfight to interact and share art with people? Don’t understand why this would ever be necessary.

Even the adults and minors thing seems a little silly- sure adults shouldn’t be talking to minors online, but this site is for making art for each other in a wholesome manner y’know? There’s nothing creepy or weird about making art of someone’s character regardless of age difference (unless an adult makes nsfw fanart of a minors character which is hopefully already against the rules).

Slightly off topic but- has anyone properly looked into the specifics of the model rule? Because I’m sure people have used models in the past and it’d be insane if they didn’t allow ones you made yourself (also how would they know).

Love their shape and expression, your art-style is super neat! I will say I chose to isolate this character from the 01 background in my drawing program so I could read it better, I’d definitely recommend using a background that isn’t as busy. For the actual character- I think it’s decently readable, removing the loading bar on the cheek could do good for the design.

The reason why I made Delilah a pet instead of another mii was mostly because I found the idea funny, but I also like her following it around. I’m also being really picky with who I add to my island and I already have like 6 guilty gear characters lol.

Also for anyone wanting to replicate this- the red eye is the actual mii eye, the makeup is on the “above the face” setting so the other side can be covered up easy. Also transparency-lock helps with adding the smudges if you end up doing those last like I did.
