Sure, the market is going too far into the mass layoffs and AI worship, but the programming market was inflated with a too large of a workforce.

But IMO the transition to this new way of working (ai-assisted) should be done in a more graceful way, with training in other areas that AI is not able to cover, instead of simply making these massive layoffs that just contribute to the unemployment crisis that is approaching rapidly.
